The City of Aledo has launched a branding initiative for the community that will help capture what’s unique about the city to positively shape the community’s image and support Economic Development initiatives for the city. After a public proposal process, community branding agency, Haven Creative was selected to guide the City of Aledo through the audit, creative and launch phases of the branding.

WHAT IS BRANDING?

Branding is more than a logo or a tagline, it’s based on perceptions and stories that live within the hearts and minds of the City of Aledo’s residents, business owners and visitors. Through this community branding initiative, we’ll explore these stories to uncover the City’s unique attributes and key differentiators to create a strategic branding and marketing plan for the City.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE AND WHO WILL BE INVOLVED?

This will be a very public process that will take approximately 6 months to complete. Residents, business owners and visitors will be encouraged to participate in online surveys and interviews. The community’s thoughts, opinions and insights on City of Aledo will be invaluable to ensure that we uncover the best of what the city has to offer. As a part of the discovery phase of the project, we are conducting a community wide survey. The survey was developed based on initial survey results and feedback from interviews gathered from City of Aledo employees, council and other stakeholders.
